List of 13 events

​

1) Bocce - (Doubles and Foursomes) - using 4 ends

​

2) Bowling - Five Pin - (Doubles and Foursomes) - 2 games @

​

3) Cribbage -  (Doubles only) - using best of 3 games

                           (losing side - limit of 2 games - total points to advance)

​

4) Darts -  (Doubles and Foursomes) - using 301 points

                           Best of 3 games and stop time of 15 minutes @

​

5) Pickleball -  (Doubles only) - using 11 points to win 1 game

​

6) Scrabble - (Doubles) using 10 rounds of one minute each turn x 2 teams

                      (total of 20 minutes)

​

7) Whist -  (Doubles only) - using 4 suit games excluding no                                    trump suit game to advance team winner

​

8) Floor Curling -  (Foursomes only) - using 4 ends

​

9) Horseshoes -  (Doubles and Foursomes) - using Rally up to 21                            points or stop time of 20 minutes

​

10) Washer Toss -  (Doubles and Foursomes) - using Rally up to                            21 points or stop time of 20 minutes

​

11) Dominoes via www.domino-games.com - Chickenfoot Domino Rules                              using a double-fifteens set/box and Doubles only and

                           stop time of 25 minutes

​

12) Ladder Golf Toss via www.laddergolf.com (Doubles and Foursomes) 

                           - using Rally up to 21 points or stop time of 20 minutes

​

13) Sandbag via Maison Des Sourds - French version Games Rules for recreational Deaf seniors program (Doubles and Foursomes)

                           - using 1 board and throw 5 bags per player twice

                           and change side for total points to advance

​

Game Site: Central Lions Seniors Recreation Centre for 11 events plus 2 other sites;

         a) Darts games at Jasper Place Legion Hall - 16 darts games

       b) 5-Pin Bowling at Bonnie Doon Bowling Lanes - 48 lanes

   

All doubles and foursomes of 4-day games competition will be used with a double elemination tourney format to determine the team points through top 8 team finishers for each events except 5-pin bowling. For bowling games, it will be used for 2 full games to count total points each doubles and foursomes to determine top 8 team finishers.  Then, we will count all total team points for final 4 team placings - team medals.

Single Event Format of 75 Points: (Cribbage, Dominoes, Floor Curling, Pickleball, Scrabble and Whist)

​

1st Place = 22 points

2nd Place= 16 points

3rd Place = 13 points

4th Place = 10 points

5th Place = 7 points

6th Place = 4 points

7th Place = 2 points

8th place = 1 point

​

Double Events of 50 Points: (Bocce, 5-pin Bowling, Darts, Horseshes, Ladder Golf Toss, Sandbag and Washer Toss)

​

1st Place = 15 points

2nd Place = 11 points

3rd Place = 8 points

4th Place = 6 points

5th Place = 4 points

6th Place = 3 points

7th Place = 2 points

8th Place = 1 point
